The name Kleenmold represents a line of products dating back to 1938, when Mr. S. J. (Bud) Singer of Specialty Products Company made a product called Kleenmold #1 for the Metro Glass Factory in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Over the years, the Kleenmold line of products has grown with the glass industry and today many different lubricants, coatings and release agents from shear sprays to cold end coatings are available. Today, Kleenmold is the industry standard in swabbing compounds.
